May 2011 Case of the Month: Correction of Tuberous Breast Deformity

Friday, May 6th, 2011

This young woman has a classic tuberous breast deformity, where there is very little breast tissue present but all of it is centered right underneath her nipple.  To correct this, I used silicone cohesive gel implants to augment the breasts and then reshaped her existing breast tissue with an incision just around the areola.  This resulted in a better overall appearance to her breasts that are more in balance with her body frame.

April 2011 Case of the Month: Breast Augmentation with Lift

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

This young woman was interested in breast enhancement after having had 3 kids.  We wanted to both add fullness to her breasts as well as lift them into a better position.  I performed a breast augmentation with silicone cohesive gel implants as well as a full breast lift with an incision around the areola and down the breast (a ‘lollipop’ incision) to create a more youthful, fuller look, as seen in her postop photos taken 6 weeks after her procedure.

March 2011 Case of the Month: Facial Rejuvenation and Rhinoplasty

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

This very nice woman was interested in refinement and rejuvenation of her jawline, eyes, and nose.  I performed a facelift, eyelid and brow rejuvenation, and a rhinoplasty to create a refined, elegant but natural appearance.  Her postop photos are taken 4 weeks after her procedure and I think demonstrate how we can achieve natural results with features that are in balance with each other when we combine procedures.

February 2011 Case of the Month: Tummy Tuck

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

This young woman was interested in a significant improvement to her abdominal contour after having had children.  I performed a full tummy tuck and was able to not only tighten her abdominal muscles that had been stretched from pregnancy, but remove a large amount of excess skin and fat (including the tatoo on her right side) to create a dramatic improvement.  The postop photos are taken a year and a half later, showing how long-lasting and durable this procedure can be.

January 2011 Case of the Month: Breast Lift

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

This past winter we had several patients having procedures with plans to look their best for the warmer weather months to come.  This woman was interested in rejuvenating her breasts after having had children.  I performed a full breast lift to give her a perkier, more youthful look, and we were able to achieve this result without using implants.

December 2010 Case of the Month: Calf and Ankle Liposuction

Saturday, December 4th, 2010

We know that liposuction works best for patients that have specific areas of fat that are stubborn to diet and exercise, and this patient is a great example of this.  She’s in her 20s and very athletic, but her lower legs have excess fat that cause them to look much fuller than the rest of her body.  I performed liposuction for the calves and ankles to help sculpt this area, narrow her legs and create more calf definition:

November 2010 Case of the Month: Eyelid Lift and Fat Removal

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

This patient was very unhappy with the heavy bags of her lower eyelids that always gave her a tired look.  Lower eyelid surgery is always a balancing act, and the trick is to take out enough of the excess fat as well as loose skin, but maintain a natural look.  Her postop photos are take 6 weeks after her procedure, and I think they show a nice result, in balance with the rest of her features, without an “operated On” or “cat eye” appearance.

October 2010 Case of the Month: Facelift and Browlift

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

This lovely woman was interested in improving the wrinkles of her face and neck as well as the “tired” look of her eyes.  I performed several procedures aimed at reducing her wrinkles, improving the shape and position of her eyebrows,  and replacing some of the fullness of her cheeks that had been lost.  Through a combination of a facelift, endoscopic browlift, upper eyelid tuck and fat transfer to the cheeks, we were able to achieve a very nice, rejuvenated result, while still maintaining a very natural appearance, as seen in the postop photos taken 2 weeks after her procedure.

Case of The Month September 2010: Brazilian Butt Lift

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

The Brazilian Butt Lift has been a popular procedure for several years now because it offers women the chance to enhance their buttocks by using their own fat and not an implant, and this young woman is a perfect example of the type of results we can get with this procedure.  For this patient, we were able to remove the excess fat from her upper and lower back and then use this fat to enhance her buttocks, giving her a more defined, fuller, and lifted appearance that is in better balance with the rest of her body.

Case of the Month: August 2010: Rhinoplasty

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Nose reshaping surgery, or rhinoplasty, is one of the more common procedures I perform and in most if not all cases I’m able to performed the procedure without any incisions on the skin– this is called a “Closed” Rhinoplasty and I think it creates a very nice final result without any chance of an obvious incision on the skin.

This young woman was interested in a more elegant appearance to her nose that was more in balance with the rest of her facial features.  During her rhinoplasty we reduced the bump on the top of her nose (called the dorsal nasal hump), refined the tip and then gently elevated it, which creates a very feminine, natural result, as seen in her “After” photo taken 6 weeks after her procedure.
