This patient had had a previous breast augmentation and lift by another surgeon and had developed capsular contracture or hardening of the implant on the left as well as drooping of the breast and implant on the right. I performed breast revision surgery by removing her old implants and replacing them with new 397 cc silicone cohesive gel breast implants, removing the hard capsule or internal scar that had formed around the implant, and performing a new breast lift. This created a soft, lifted, and more natural result in balance with the rest of her frame, as seen in her post-op photos taken 6 weeks after her procedure.
