This 32-year-old woman had had multiple previous breast procedures by another surgeon. She was interested in new, fuller implants, a softer look and feel, correction of her contracture or tightening of the scar around her implants. I performed a breast implant exchange (we removed 339 cc moderate projection implants and replaced them with high projection 470 cc gummy bear silicone implants) with the removal of the thick scars that had been created around each implant (“capsulectomy”) using her existing incisions hidden in her breast folds. The post-op photos taken about 6 weeks after her surgery show a nice, full shape, soft look and feel, and excellent balance with the rest of her frame.
