This 45-year-old woman was interested in an abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck” after having children. She had dramatic abdominal wall laxity that was out of proportion with the rest of her very thin, athletic frame. I performed a tummy tuck with specific attention to correcting her muscle laxity. The post-op photos taken 3 months after her surgery show a dramatic result with a very flat abdomen (seen best in the lateral views) and an abdomen that is now in balance with the rest of her body.
