This 30-year-old patient was interested in a breast revision. She had 275 cc subpectoral saline implants that had been placed by another surgeon over 10 years ago. She was interested in larger implants sitting in a better position, with more upper pole fullness and less rippling. I performed a breast revision during which I removed her saline implants and reconstructed her subpectoral pocket using an Acellular Dermal Matrix (“ADM”) sling which acted as an internal bra to support and cover her new larger, highly cohesive gel or “gummy bear” silicone implants, 440 cc high projection. The procedure was all done through incisions hidden under the breasts. The post-op photos taken at 6 weeks after surgery show fuller implants with less rippling (you can see this in particular on the right lateral views), better, more central position of the implants which results in the nipples appearing more centered on the breast mound, and an overall more youthful final result.
