Non-Surgical Aesthetic Treatments: Botox, Juvederm, Voluma and Radiesse Trended in 2021

DrSalemy_Non Surgical Aesthetic Trends While the pandemic may have prevented us from getting certain aesthetic treatments, plastic surgeons saw a rise in non-invasive aesthetic procedures.

Both invasive and non-invasive aesthetic treatments have caught the attention of female and male patients alike as changes to everyday life, such as masking or frequent Zooming for work, have helped accelerate the focus on looking our youthful best. Non-surgical procedures are especially attractive options due to their low-cost nature, immediate results and quick recovery. Among the trending non-surgical treatments of 2021 are Botox and Hyaluronic Acid like Juvederm and Voluma.  What can these popular nonsurgical procedures help you achieve?

Non-Surgical Facelifts

Another trend is the growing popularity of strategically placing Botox injections to reverse the signs of aging that are most visible on camera. This could mean receiving Botox for non-surgical browlifts and cheek enhancements, or for adding volume to lips to help plump and smooth out lines. Botox injections can also address wrinkles and fine lines elsewhere, including reducing the appearance of crow’s feet and other expression-based wrinkles, and to smooth lines around the forehead, nose and mouth as well. For many people, Botox is quickly becoming the go-to for minor adjustments and appearance refreshing.

Voluma too is used increasingly to plump up cheeks to improve facial contours as is Radiesse, a pure, synthetic compound, that can also be used to help fill deeper lines and wrinkles.

Youthful Features with Fillers

Regaining youthful features isn’t just reserved for the face – patients will often want to turn back the hands of time when it comes to yes – their hands too.  Here Radiesse can be injected to help rejuvenate the backs of hands.

Less Perspiration and Sweating

Botox can also be a safe and effective way to mitigate excessive sweating, particularly in underarms. When injected in focal areas like the armpits, Botox can block nerve signals that produce perspiration, effectively reducing how much patients perspire.

Choose a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for Your Aesthetic Treatments

When it comes to Non-surgical treatments, it’s always best to skip the “Botox and bubbly” parties in favor of seeking out a board-certified plastic surgeon’s office, regardless of whether you’re seeking surgery or non-invasive treatments. This ensures that you’re getting the best care from an experienced, reputable professional.

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments can be the perfect way to enter the public eye looking and feeling your best.
